(Prof. Ammar Makki Ali Al-Najm) Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Kufa participated in a scientific research entitled (A circular force analysis platform developed to measure and analyze the throwing forces and the resulting displacement due to rotation) in the International Conference on Electronics and Mechatronics International IOT , Electronics and Mechatronics Conference – in Canada – Vancouver
The research deals with presenting other developments and uses for traditional power platforms by designing and building a power platform for the purpose of measuring and analyzing the forces resulting from the displacement and rotation of some sporting activities such as throwing hammer and throwing the disc as well as pushing the weight. This platform is designed in a ring shape with a diameter of 2.5 meters in order to simulate and provide sufficient space for the players performing For these activities and this is what is not provided by the traditional platforms available in the market, where the mechanical engineering design was made using a CAD program to determine the mechanical dimensions and to study the stability of the platform, where five sensitive cells were used for the purpose of collecting information on the forces resulting from the activity implemented for the purpose of converting them into analog electrical signals and then Collecting this information from each sensor using DATA LOGGER, where it is converted into a digital signal for the purpose of mathematically processing it for the purpose of calculating the various forces required and analyzing it and then displaying it using LabView programs. The designed platform also has the ability to measure and calculate other variables of the efficacy port, such as measuring displacement acceleration using Computer Tracking System Vision
